Working Groups

Working Groups

First of all they are a platform for discussion and exchange of experience about a specific issue. Working groups are an integral part of AEGEE-Poznań ? it?s a means by which our members fulfil their long-term goals. Groups are active all the time, regardless of current projects. Thanks to their regular work, sustainable development is possible. Another of their aims is to prepare new members of AEGEE for continuous activitity. If you still don?t now, how to get started in AEGEE-Poznań, the working group is the right choice. Just come to the meeting or contact the coordinator of the group. You can be a member of several working groups at the same time.

Currently there are three statutory groups active:

• Human Resources Working Group
• Public Relations Working Group
• Fundraising Working Group

Human Resources is one of the basic working groups in AEGEE. HR is responsible for the self-development of AEGEE members and their integration. We take care of individual paths of development for our Aegee?ans, and we also organise hot parties. Are you always in the spotlight at parties? Are you a natural leader? Public Relations is another crucial working group in AEGEE. We take care of the promotion of AEGEE-Poznań and everything related to Public Relations in our organisation. PR Working Group includes: contact with media, institutions and organisations; making promotional campaigns for AEGEE-Poznań; creating a positive image of AEGEE among students and others; ensuring that many people talk about AEGEE. Are you a person who comes up with 100 ideas in a minute? Are you creative? Do you want to establish contacts with media on a regional, national, or even European level? That is the right place for you! Help us make an image of AEGEE and promote our organisation.

Our group takes care of donations, financial and material sponsorship, getting necessary aid for organised projects and applying for funding (grants). If you like keeping your hands on money and want to win some cash for AEGEE (and not only cash!) ? it is the right group for you! FR Working Group is an opportunity to gain practical experience (i.e. to learn how to negotiate and prepare for meetings with sponsors), what professional fundraisers do on a daily basis.
